We need a CCIE to troubleshoot a frame-relay connectivity problem in South Florida.
When we reboot our core router (Cisco 3660), all comes up fine. We can ping through the frame-relay, etc.
However, the application on our server that uses this frame-relay to connect to a server on other end of pvc takes hours to reconnect.
CCNAs have worked on this to no avail.

My search team is looking for that “just right” person for a major client. Our client is one of the pre-eminent players in the networking solutions space. To further strengthen their foothold in the space they’ve asked my team to find a very strategic player for them who can bring a lot to the table... a CCIE certification to be precise. We need this person in the Boston area today - they are not considering a relo.

The role we’re seeking to fill is that of a pre-sales engineer in the networking space working with sales in a pre-sales capacity.

This position requires a certified - CCIE - professional with at least 5 - 7 years of solid career growth in the networking arena. Our candidate will need to be in the Boston area ALREADY unless there is a compelling reason that someone has (family, girl/boyfriend, etc.) for wanting to relo themselves to the area. The client is, however; adamant about having a COMPLETE CCIE certification... not part of it, or a CCNA with a class or two under their belt. We need a full and complete CCIE certified individual for this role.

The base salary will likely be ~$100K+ with bonuses that put the on target number in the $150K and above range. We're flexible on the salary because of the critical need for credentials so, if you're earning more, don't walk away from this opportunity... we might be able to make it work for the right background and, of course, the CCIE certification.

If this is you – or someone you know – please contact my office right away. Sending a confidential resume via email and including earnings history will ensure the fastest possible review and response.
