ITSD is seeking a highly qualified individual to lead the Enterprise IP 
Video Conferencing (IPVC) project. To provide high quality and cost 
effective IPVC and Rich Media Technology Services assisting ITSD in 
delivering quality, state-of-the-art Multi-Media communications.

The candidate will be responsible for designing and deploying IP Video 
Conferencing Services.

The person is the technical focal point for advice on IP video technologies, 
and provides L3 technical support in resolving voice/video incidents and 
also provides consultancy advice to other IT Infrastructure specialists. 
Maintains strong links with industry service providers with respect to video 
technologies and services and works closely with IT colleagues, to share 
knowledge relating to voice/video technologies and services.



Requirements:


. Five (5) or more years experience in supporting and troubleshooting 
technology surrounding video conferencing (preferably with Cisco and 
Tandberg systems and products) including room/desktop systems, MCU's, 
Gateways, Gatekeepers and Security components (Firewall Traversal components 
over IP and ISDN networks.
. University Degree required (or equivalent experience), preferably in 
computer science or information systems with 4 plus years of progressive 
experience in design and support services
. Solid understanding of H.323 and H.320 networks.
. Knowledge of videoconferencing standards including (but not limited to) 
H.261, H.263, H.264, G.711, G.722, G.728, H.242, H.243, H.248, H.450, H.239
. Design, implementation and troubleshooting of the following technologies:
. IPVC (IP Video Conferencing)
. VoIP (Voice Over IP)
. QoS (Quality of Service)

. Web collaboration and streaming Video
. Routing & Switching

. ISDN, frame-relay, and satellite links

. PBX and IP video gateways

. Rich Media Web Collaboration
. Network Management
. LAN/WAN Connectivity (appropriate speed)
. Development of dial plan structure and maintenance\incorporating 
geographical end points
. Design documentation of recommended enhancements for requested services
. Experience in design, development and installation of Gateway, Gatekeepers 
and Bridges (MCU).
. Intelligent delivery of select network applications (Streaming media, IP 
Video Conferencing, Market Data). Bandwidth management and controlled user 
subscription. Experience with audio and video in an integrated video/audio 
conferencing environment.


. Working knowledge of Unified Messaging, Interactive Voice Response, 
Automatic Call Distribution, Automated Attendant, Active Directory
. Experience in wireless and fixed line telecommunications services, and in 
Remote Access services.
. PC and Microsoft Office applications and programs.
. Project management.

. Documentation skills
. Strong verbal and written skills.
