I hate to say it, but recruiters are a necessary evil... you have to be
forceful and tell them what you want, and what you do not want, very
firmly...

Subject: jobs in NYC? [3:885]

Hello,

I want to know the good way to look for a job in NYC. I live here though
but don't know how to find job openings in diff companies. I check diff job
sites but most of the time they are full with recruiting agencies and no BIG
company ad there.
I haven't have good experience with recruiting agencies..and ur mailbox is
full with them all the time......they waste a lot of time, and a lot of
boring questions for an hour..need to find a lot of time for it since they
want to meet you first always.
you tell them that you are a CCNP but they say job requirement is for CCNA.
:) (for people who don't know, a CCNP already gets CCNA...cisco
requirement)

Sara
