$75,000 for anywhere in California south of Humboldt is rather low, I would
think. I used to live in the East Bay area north of Silly Valley and
remember the rents, the gas prices and the commute not-too-fondly.

Money.com's website. It can be a REAL eye-opener if you're into comparing
salaries from different geographic areas., i.e., 'Gee, I'm making $80,000
here in Possum Trot; what would I have to make in <fill in your target city>
to have a similar lifestyle.'
