Hi all,

The thing that I think about is when is the right time to move into the
infrastructure part of IT? Should one wait until he/she is a CCNP to try to
move into the wonderful world of Cisco or should you try to jump in after
you have your CCNA? The reason that I am asking is that I have my CCNA, and
MC$E and have been in the industry for 8 years, and working on my CCNP right
now. I have a good job, however, I don't get to get my hands on any Cisco
equipment at work. I have a home lab that I do my testing on and work out
the labs as I study. I know to reach my goal of CCIE I would need to be
putting my hands on Cisco gear every day. Would it be better to look for a
job now or finish my CCNP first.

I don't know if this is an appropriate email for this list. Any help would
be appreciated.

John
