pay cut

I am a  middle school teacher in mont. al. I have a mcse and ccna I have 
limited network exp. and am trying to move into IT I currently make in the 
upward 40's now with teaching and other school duties if I were to take a 
pay cut how low should I go and how long do you think it will take before I 
get back to my current pay level. Thanks in advance.
