I have been battling an issue with EIGRP doing up and down and having reload
the routing table every few minute or two. The network consists of a remote
router using Dial-On-Demand into an AS5300. I get anywhere from an 10 to 30
% packet loss. The interface dosen't shut down but it drops as the routing
table rebuilds. During the Debug it seems as if the Hello messages are
looking good. I have also swapped the hardware of the remote router.
If anyone has any ideas on were I can look I would greatly appreciate it .
Below is what i get on the AS5300:
13:26:21.532 PDT: %DUAL-5-NBRCHANGE: IP-EIGRP(0) 65: Neighbor 10.x.x.x
(Virtual-Access) is up: new adjacency
13:28:14.965 PDT: %DUAL-5-NBRCHANGE: IP-EIGRP(0) 65: Neighbor 10.x.x.x
(Virtual-Access) is down: Interface Goodbye received
This is what I get on the Remote router:
13:36:21.822 PDT: %DUAL-5-NBRCHANGE: IP-EIGRP(0) 65: Neighbor 10.x.x.x
(Dialer1) is down: holding time expired
13:36:22.034 PDT: %DUAL-5-NBRCHANGE: IP-EIGRP(0) 65: Neighbor 10.x.x.x
(Dialer1) is up: new adjacency
13:36:40.955 PDT: %DUAL-5-NBRCHANGE: IP-EIGRP(0) 65: Neighbor 10.x.x.x
(Dialer1) is down: holding time expired
13:36:42.084 PDT: %DUAL-5-NBRCHANGE: IP-EIGRP(0) 65: Neighbor 10.x.x.x
(Dialer1) is up: new adjacency
