(os 6.3)

To configure a pix to send a default route use

"rip inside default version 2"

which sends 0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0 to the multicast address 224.0.0.9 on the
inside interface

My Question -
what exactly is happenning here ? Is RIP saying to other RIP speaking
devices - your default route is to me ?
