What's all this fuss about TCP vulernabilities now ?

can't you just hammer the BGP peer's IP (show ip bgp to find out
of your adversary) with 179 SYN packets ?

If I know X network is coming from X IP (via NLRI info) just
send as many syns to 179 as you can.. wouldn't this overload the
Cisco box and cause it to crash ?

Is this vulnerability more dangerous than that ?
