Inaccessible Route in Routing Table [7:79444] posted 11/18/2003
[Chronological Index] [Thread Index] [Top] [Date Prev][Date Next] [Thread Prev][Thread Next]

Isnt it strange? R3 is directed connected to R6 (network 160.100.1.0). R6
is advertising 160.100.100.0 through eBGP. R3 BGP table shows network
160.100.100.0 as valid, best; but R3 routing table shows 160.100.100.0 as
inaccessible.

The only way to recover the situation is ?clear ip route *? on R3.

R3#sh ip route 160.100.100.0
Routing entry for 160.100.100.0/24
Known via "bgp 2010", distance 20, metric 4294967295 (inaccessible)
  Tag 2001, type external
  Redistributing via ospf 200
