Hi All,
Given the scenario where i have LX tranceivers on my switch (both ends
of link) with Single mode fiber adn the distance between them is abt 100
mtrs. Should i be using an attenuator, so that i bring down the signal
strength ? considering that there is no splicing done between the two
ends, what is the kind of fiber loss should i be looking ?
Is there a matrix/table for distance v/s signal strength so that i can
decide using attenuators whereever is required in the campus.
Appreciate any suggestions
