I will try to implement the suggestions to test if they solve me problem of
browsing the branch office backup domain controller server from end-users at
head quarter site.

On more thing: When I ping the BDC then I can successfully brows and access
BDC for about 3 minutes. After a short time again I cannot access BDC. What
do you conclude from this?

Thanks

I thought NetBIOS broadcasts were TCP 137, 138 and 139 . I ran some tests
on
this awhile ago and found that NT uses TCP ports 137,138 and 139???? not
UDP????
