SO, what the problem is, as I understand it, is that when you telnet from rA to rB, then from rB to rC, and then you type Ctrl-Shift-6 X, you get sent back to rA, right? But you really want to go back to rB, right?

Try this:

Ctrl-Shift 6 6 X

That is, hit the 6 twice before you type the X. That should work for you...

Since router b has the session to router c, the way whenever you try the
escape seq. and then back, you'll go to router c. If you do a "sh session" on
router a, it will say the session is on router b.


I'd open another session to router b from a. A cleaner way to do it would be
opening a session to router b and a second session directly to router c.
