CCNP/CCIE Flavors posted 05/01/2000

Has anyone had the opportunity to discover whether the different flavors of
CCNP/CCIE (Routing & Switching v. WAN Switch.) are viewed differently in the
terms of importance or perhaps more importantly, availability? I know R&S
is the most popular track, so can one assume that in 3 or 4 years there will
be a "flood" of CCNPs with this background, enhancing the WAN Switching, or
is that still too short a time period since the #s of CCNPs and CCIEs are
still very low? Just a thought before I pick a track.
