vlan 8 traffic will be on the trunk if it's not pruned. Just make sure the
pruning list for the lowest numbered trunk link doesn't include vlan 8.

Subject: IEWB- Version 4.1 vol2 lab4 task 1.3

Hello experts

The task says although sw1 and sw3 do not have vlan 8 locally assigned
ensure that they receive unknown unicast ,broadcast or multicast traffic for
vlan 8 over their lowest numbered trunk link to sw2.

The solution given
switchport trunk pruning vlan 2-7,9-1001

my question here how will the trunk links receive traffic for vlan 8 when
vlan 8 is not present in the trunk
