How To Run Cisco IOS On PC......!! posted 02/14/2007

I have passed written exam and ready to study for lab. I am interested to run Cisco IOS on my notebook. I need more information to build up this virtual lab.
Where I have to start to build up this virtual lab? Any guideline ? Please can you advise for HW/SW requirements ? - OS Linux ? -WinXP ? Emulation programmes?

unix is not the only option for 64 bit computing:
You can use windows 64 bit (which I use) or Vista ultimate 64 bit (which I also have working) or server 2003 which works good as well. all will address RAM above 3GB. Personally I like windows XP 64 bit which I have in one machine 8GB worth of memory. I have run up to 16 instances with no problems and had more than enough room for more.
