Default behavior in RP election in case of BSR posted 02/11/2007
[Chronological Index] [Thread Index] [Top] [Date Prev][Date Next] [Thread Prev][Thread Next]

Hi folks,

What's the default behavior in case of a BSR? If the priorities are equal
then the highest IP will be the BSR and the lowest IP will be the candidate
RP (Jeff Doyle, vol.2, page 564).

Please take a look at the jpg. The BSR elected is correct but why is the RP
shown as 10.224.1.2 for the default group. In vol.2 they have shown it as
10.224.1.1.

Any clues?

Prasad.
