You only need the 12.2(8r) upgrade if you want MORE than 128MB in your
2600XM series router.

Hello Group,,
i have a 2621xm with 64D/32F I need to make it 128D/32F I have the following
ROM..
ROM: System Bootstrap, Version 12.2(7r) [cmong 7r], RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
I am willing to buy two 64DIMMS. for the 128 upgrade.
My question is do i have to upgrade the ROM for this and make it 12.2(8r),
or would it work with the currnet ROM.
Any answer is appreciated..
