no keepalives on ethernet interfaces posted 03/03/2006

Hi Group,

i know the use of this command enables the ethernet
interface to be "forced-up" even with no connections
to it

recently i tried it on a Gigabit ethernet interface on
a cisco 7600, i didnt worked.

Any idea on this?
