hmmmm. not sure then!!! Strange!!! I would definitely use secureCRT anyhow,
and as Joseph pointed
out this is what you will have at RTP!!

You may try to change the default emulation from auto to VT100!! Other than
that I don't know.

Thaks for getting back to me.

By default, the setting for backscroll buffer lines is 500. Is that too
high?

Also, by default, hyperterm is set for Terminal Keys, so that doesn't solve
the up arrow problem.
