How did you approach "knowing the cd" ? Any particular technique ?

Thank you,

I would have to beg to differ on not being able to claim ignorance on ANY
subject matter.

I have finally passed the lab, and there is NO WAY I would say I am a
subject matter
expert on everything Cisco can test on the lab.

But I can sure darn tell you I know the core topics of the lab and how to
research and
find out about topics I am "ignorant" about.

For instance, if someone here has passed the lab and can with absolute
certainty say they know everything about Multicast there is to know, I would
say prove it!!!

I don't think no one can!!!

Or let's say QOS....do we have any takers!!!!

Know the core stuff and KNOW the Doc CD!!!! As has been said here many many
times before.

But it is my feeling that my best lab experience was knowing I didn't have
to go back "AGAIN"

At least not for the R & S.

The buck stops with the CCIE -- there's no way to have that qualification
and claim ignorance on a subject matter. Taking a longer while to pass the
exam isn't such a bad thing. On the other hand, passing on the first or
second try is a nice thing too ...

feel like I would've been doing a "disjustice" to those certified if I were
equals with them (having a number) and yet knew so little (as compared with
what I know now).

attempted" as well as a famous quote from Albert Einstein, "I am not really
smart. I just stick with problems longer."
