CEF recommendations.

HI All,

Just checked the archives for this.

For CAR,NBAR,policy-propogation via BGP, netflow, ip unicast RPF, turbo
ACL's require CAR.
I also read that the set command in Modular QOS CLI needs cef.

Without going into the controversy of the above statement ;-) 
WOULD it be SAFE to say that in THE LAB, we SHOULD enable CEF on ALL THE
ROUTERS.
Are there some negative effects?? or a technology which will not work with
cef????

Any comments, recommendations will be most Welcome.
