OSPF subnet mask matching posted 01/30/2003
|
Hello group Could anyone explain difference between 0.0.0.0 and in example 0.0.0.255 if my subnet mask on interface 255.255.255.0. Ethernet0 ip address 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0 router ospf 1 network 192.168.1.0 0.0.0.0 area 0 OR router ospf 1 network 192.168.1.1 0.0.0.255 area 0 Both masks on network statement will match subnet mask on Ethernet interface and interface will be in OSPF area 0. But what is difference? . __________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe from the CCIELAB list, send a message to majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx with the body containing: unsubscribe ccielab
