summary-address EIGRP in an Ethernet interface posted 04/07/2002

hi, all
In the middle of ccboot lab3 process, there is a config made on an E0 interface in Router 8 to summary several networks when advertised to EIGRP.

I have no trouble with the config below,

interface Ethernet0
 ip address 137.20.50.7 255.255.255.0
 ip directed-broadcast
 ip summary-address eigrp 1 10.1.0.0 255.255.252.0 5
 ipx network 567

but have problems with receiving routing updates and peering EIGRP neighbors when one more summary config made on the same interface,

interface Ethernet0
 ip address 137.20.50.7 255.255.255.0
 ip directed-broadcast
 " ip summary-address eigrp 1 160.0.0.0 240.0.0.0 5"
 ip summary-address eigrp 1 10.1.0.0 255.255.252.0 5
 ipx network 567

10.1.0.0/22 network is a summary of 2 loopback interfaces with 10.1.1.1/24, 10.1.2.1/24
160.0.0.0/4 network is a summary of 2 loopback interfacess with its address 160.10.10.1/24, 170.10.10.1/24

there are eigrp neighbors; one is redistributing OSPF over its e0 interface (137.20.50.1)
one is just an eigrp neighbor.

Whenever I put 'ip summary-address eigrp 1 160.0.0.0 240.0.0.0" on the interface;
eigrp log-neighbor-changes' tells that EIGRP neighbors flap,.and the e0 interface doesn't seem to receive external routing updates properly.
And these messages never end.

Can you tell me what might have caused above problems??

cables, collisions checked in case anyone concerns..
