Hi,

    I met a very strange problem.

    Here is the extract config & output:
======================
...
ip multicast-routing
!
interface Ethernet0
 ip address 192.168.10.2 255.255.255.0
 ip pim dense-mode
 ip igmp join-group 224.3.3.3
...

r5#sh ip mroute 224.3.3.3
IP Multicast Routing Table
Flags: D - Dense, S - Sparse, C - Connected, L - Local, P - Pruned
       R - RP-bit set, F - Register flag, T - SPT-bit set, J - Join SPT
Timers: Uptime/Expires
Interface state: Interface, Next-Hop, State/Mode

(*, 224.3.3.3), 00:23:30/00:00:00, RP 0.0.0.0, flags: DJCL
  Incoming interface: Null, RPF nbr 0.0.0.0
  Outgoing interface list:
    Ethernet0, Forward/Dense, 00:23:30/00:00:00

========================

I cann't get reply even pinging this group addr. locally.
After I create a loopback interface, assign ip addr. and config ip pim dense-mode
on it, I can get the reply.

I'm pulling my hair out. Have someone met this kind of problem before?

TIA,

Seth
