Dear Sofia, please, in english ;-) we are in the groupstudy.
I have used many resources, I am afraid too much for the type of
exam I got, however, the most important source I have used are Sybex and
Cisco. Mock exams, just the ones you can find in the web site.
I have not used simulators but real routers (just two, 2501 and
1601). I was not very happy with my hands-on because I could not make full
framerelay labs and any isdn lab. But for the basics of the exam is fair
enough.
The simulations are quite similar the ones that cisco offers as a
demo. Not tricky if you have played just a little bit. I got two
simulations.
What do you do when you finish the simulation?
Just click on NEXT and that's all (it would ask you to confirm
whether you want to continue). It is up to you to decide when you have
finished, you have to use all your skills to check and double check that you
have got the requirements of the lab. And when you have checked that
everything is ok then go on with the next question.
During my study I took some study guides in the web, failed answer
in some mock exams, the cisco book and the sybex book and compiled a study
guide. It is a hard work, that's why I have been complaining along the last
week, that all this effort is not really worthy, it is too much.
I think, Sofia, buying a book, says Sybex or Cisco, is not a big
deal and you will have always there a reference book. Even you can buy
second hand in Amazon, or you can join a friend to buy it together and share
costs. Buying real routers is quite different and is not affordable for
everybody.

No mas me queda felicitarte por tu exito, tengo ya un
mes de estar estudiando para el CCNA y espero poder
hacer el examen ad finales de este mes.
Mi training ha sido solamente el curso de ICND, pero
tambien estoy estudiando con un libro de ExamCram para
el examen 640-507.
Crees que esto es suficiente o que deberia buscar mas
informacion? Desgraciadamente no tengo dinero para
invertir en ningun otro material.
Cuantas simulaciones hay en el examen? y que tan
dificiles son? Me gustaria que me explicaras como hace
uno al finalizar una simulacion para indicar que ya ha
completado el ejercicio o es que los primeros datos
que se ingresan son los que toma como respuesta?
Te agradezco toda la ayuda que me puedas brindar y de
nuevo de felicito por el logro que conseguiste
