VoIP over Ethernet... [1:9887]

Hi all,

Can anyone help me out on how to achieve any sort of compression in case
of VoIP over Ethernet as physical media. I am using satellite modems
with ethernet terminations with 1750 routers for VoIP. However
RTP-compression is not meant for Encapsulation ARPA which is on
Ethernet. I have to compress the VoIP packet over ethernet so as to
minimize the utilization of satellite bandwidth.

Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.
