Would'nt it be true to say that fragmentfree is the result of the sucessful
passing of the fragmentcheck

Fragmentfree is a CISCO method of switching as cutthrough and store &
forward.
Store & forward needs to wait all the frame, before switching it. This
method permit to check frame validy by CRC calculation, but latency depend
of the size of the frame.
Cut-Through switching wait only the destination address : switching begins
as soon as the destination address is read. So there's no latency problem
here, but transmitted frames can be corrupted.
Fragment free is a good compromise between the two methods : the switch read
only the 64 first bytes of the frame. So latency time is guaranteed and
frame integrity can be a little bit more controlled than in Cut Through.
CAT1900 implement fragmentfree by default.
There's a last method, called adaptive mode : the switch begins in S&F mode,
and if there's no frame error, it change to cutthrough mode.
