Depending on the type of DOS attack you can respond to an attack by
making some configuration changes, but you won't be able to prevent an
attack from happening. If preventing attacks were that easy you probably
wouldn't hear all the fuss about it.

Subject: Denial of Service question [1:2057]
I have a question on Denial of Service attacks. i was
told that you could prevent a denial of service
attacks by just a few lines of code on your router.
Does anybody know what those lines of code are if they
exist???
