Thanks, being confused as I am, I want to verify this-> Which information the router is using to base its decision on? Does it have statically configured IP information that a packet from subnet BLA means: "send it back over the trunk with VLAN header Y"? If so; do different VLAN's necessarily have to be in a different subnet before they can talk to eachother?
