Everyone is different of course, and judging by what I've read on this
mailing list and various newsgroups, I might have gotten an easy
exam. While hands on experience will definitely make it easier to have
various material stick in your head, the exam can be done without hands on
experience, at least if you get one like mine.
On the other hand--I used the Sybex Simulator as well as a few other
freeware versions that I was able to find on the web--Krang, etc. So,
certain aspects of the test were quite easy because I'd done them 100
times. I think that if you find some sort of simulator--the Sybex one is
better than the freeware vesions--and use the textbook,you should be
alright, but of course, your mileage may vary.
